I haven't made many valentine cards yet this year so I made a longer card than normal. It's 4" x 9". I used the CTMH who's your valentine stamp set. I loved this challenge because red black and white go so well together! Head on over to cardztv.blogspot.com and have some fun!
Owls are my favorite bird and the hearts have x's and o's all over. I don't know if you can see but the square's are embossed with tiny hearts embossing folder and the square's are 2 1/2"x 2 1/2".
For the inside I stamped the little owl and an outer circle of x's and o's.

Use it Tuesday challenge #48: Warm It Up!
I used Paper Doll Teen Scene cartridge because in this challenge you use your scraps or things you've had for a while. I've had this cartridge for months and have only used it for paper dolls for my daughter to play with, so I thought it would make a cute summer card. I also used some paper I've had for a while too. I used green tulle for a net which even though I forgot to add before I put my card base down, I think it turned out cuter. I used all three colors: Red, Orange, and Yellow. Head on over to useittuesday.blogspot.com to see all the fun projects and play along!
I took the same paper I used for the paper dolls skin and took a dark brown ink over it to give it a sandy look. I also just ripped the paper a bit for some texture.
This is the inside of my card. I use a strip of the base background and some green so it would stand out.
Recipe:
Paper Doll Teen Scene pg 36 & pg 66 cut at 5"
DCWV Dots, Stripes, and Plaids stack
Orange and White twine
Green tulle
Pop dots and glue dots

Out of the Box challenge at Scrappy Moms
I had a lot of fun creating this Valentines box. I was going to use my Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 cartridge but I couldn't get the score lines to match up on my E2, so instead I used the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge. I'm glad I used this cartridge because I think it turned out great! Head on over to scrappymoms-stamps.blogspot.com for a fun challenge!
I heat embossed the top of my box with Scrappy Moms and My pink Stamper stamp sets. I also added wired ribbon and made a bow and added some red gems.
For the front of my box I added the heart from Create a Critter 2 and stamped the True Love sentiment also from Scrappy Moms stamps.
For the sides I used the Elegant Edges cartridge and used My Pink Stamper stamps.
And for the back of my box I cut a couple of birds out of some pattern paper I've had for a long time. I used a scalloped punch and stamped on it with Scrappy Moms stamps.
